Developments
The images show our final branding development applied to each of the different elements that were needed for the exhibition. These ideas will be presented at the final presentation crit, from which we will be able to make any small necessary changes to the design before we present for the final time.
The catalogue is a compilation of the screen prints that will be in the exhibition, organised into the same system that the wayfinding is. This relies on the numbering of the posters in the wayfinding system and then these numbers are colour coded into the 3 categories determined by the year that the event was held. This will allow people to quickly find their way around the exhibition.
The gifs very clearly explain the concept and reasoning for the logo to be how it is. The gifs explain the link to the screen printing process and how the overlap creates the black shade, with the slight element of transparency. The use of social media is very important as a large number of people have access to these platforms, allowing for the exhibition to be advertised to a large audience. Creating a hype about the exhibition is important, this will be done by countdowns in the style of our branding concept. Throughout the exhibition, the interest will need to be maintained, but more focused on the work rather than what the exhibition is about.

Crit feedback
In this session we were able to present the idea as if it was the final presentation , but to a smaller group of people so that we could get feedback on the concept and way that it is presented. The feedback will allow us to refine our idea over the weekend ready for the final presentation, it was:
- no large paragraphs of text on the representation, minimise to keywords
- do not show references that are not important to the final outcome
- keep it all lowercase
- tighter typeface?
- show all of the images that will be shown on social media
- use textures from the work in the triangles to relate tot he exhibition even more and to help people get a clear understanding of what will be there
- would be interesting to have various textures throughout the branding of the exhibition
- one large screen cut up to make the back of the flyers could work effectively
- white space on the flyer?
- hand print the front and back pages of the catalogue
- fragments of work in the triangles next to the name in the catalogue
- overlapping the triangles in the catalogue like the posters and flyers, will keep the consistency throughout
- more people need to be on each page as there is a large number of prints in the exhibition and the catalogue can not be too many pages
