Studio brief 3: Collaborative Practice

Exhibition branding
Brief:
For this brief, we are to work as part of a creative team and put together an idea for the concept, branding, identity and promotional material needed for the public spaces exhibition at Leeds central library. We will be expected to pitch this idea to a group of other students and tutors as part of a voting system to see which groups idea is most successful.

What to think about:
Create an engaging identity and promotional campaign
  • what is unique about this exhibition
  • how can the content, location, exhibitors potentially inform your design treatment
  • how to engage with them
Background + considerations

  • locations, times
  • content, exhibitors
  • social media, links, hashtags, etc
  • contact details
  • format
  • signage, wayfinding
  • opening night invites
Restrictions
  • reproduction costings must be feasible
  • production must be reproducible using the college resources
Mandatory requirements
  • documentation must include evidence of time-management, planning, dissemination, independent and collaborative practice
  • organisation, planning and presentation for a 15 minute pitch of your ideas and concepts
Deliverables
  • 15 minute pitch/presentation of your proposal
