Jungle Se7ens - Social Media announcements

I had to deliver a number of social media announcements so that the festival could have a strong online presence and the audience were fully aware of the different things happening in regards to the festival and buying tickets etc. I wanted to keep it consistent with the initial release branding but also develop it to be a little more graphic focused so that it did not become repetitive and also the identity would develop from there once more and more was confirmed about the festival.

Taking the list of social media content, I discussed with the intern about the fact that if we stick to closely to the visual identity of the festival then it may become very predictable on social media. This is a positive in general, but interest will need to be maintained until the end of April, so this seems only possible to achieve by mixing a new design style.

Visual research
This first visual source is vibrant and would sit well next to the other content that is being released for the festival. To improve this and take it forward as a style to apply to the festival social media content, it would need to incorporate slightly more of a 'jungle' theme.

The overlapping palm leaf, geometric shape, minimal background in contrast to the bold lettering is visually strong and I can imagine it being applied to a number of outcomes and content for the festival and the future content needed.
The sporadic lettering looks really effective, but would not suit the need for a fairly long festival title.

I took the visual references and then experimented with the style but with the elements that I have already developed in regards to the festival.
