Burnout - Design research

Having thought about how the 15 degree element could come into the campaign in other ways other than just in the typeface design, I saw this event design on Instagram which made me think about how a block of colour with 15degree angle could work to hold the text that would be the body - holding the message. 



This cover rebranding project (Legale Civile and Legale Penale) has been designed by BMG Studio on August 2017 for Maggioli Editore. We felt the necessity to give a fresh and more lively look to the cover without losing its institutional character. We decided to take inspiration to big examples of yesterday to nowadays, trying to transform an Italian product into a valuable object that winks at internationality. We thought firstly at the manufacturer by choosing some economic strategies, as for example the open source font and the selection of two pantone colours.




The Loop
The Loop is a non for profit which provides drug safety testing, welfare and harm reduction services at nightclubs, festivals and other leisure events.

Posters display useful harm reduction information and social commentary surrounding hedonism, drug policy and use.
