Burnout - Kessels Kramer

Following on from the visit to the Anyways studio research into the campaign by Kessels Kramer worked as a reference point if the campaign ended up going in the direction of interrupting a nice downtime location. The idea of taking something positive and ironically turning it into a negative needs to be done with a very obvious approach so that the audience can see it to be humorous rather than confusing.
In terms of design, the posters have a brightly coloured background to grab the attention and then a really simple and not very considered diagram paired with bold, capitalised type. The contrasting approach uses imagery that explicitly shows where the hostel is bad and then personally apologises and says that they are bad, but they do their best for a budget hostel.
