Burnout - Design development

Development - moving on from Crit with Charlie 

Colour experimentation 
- millennial pink and then what works well with it
- will be refined further into the project
- need to be bold colours so that the message stands out when someone is trying to have some downtime

Feedback 
In terms of tagline this makes you think that it is a campaign about technology reliance or always being on social media etc. This is obviously part of the concept but the campaign needs to ensure that it is raising awareness on millennial burnout and not just the increased use of technology in peoples day to day lives. 

The development shows the process of type manipulation in which the 15 degree angle was placed at the same point on the base line of each individual letter and then the letter was manipulated to show this through the fill. 



















Tag line brain storm:

  • don’t let yourself burnout 
  • slow and steady wins the race
  • you don’t need to always progress
  • sometimes so progression is the best progression 
  • switch off
  • downtime is productive
Development consideration: 
The concept really needs to be finalised before the design development can continue, it is evident that there is a big idea but the message needs to be refined and with an aim of who the target audience is and what the campaign is trying to say to them. 
  • is it to raise awareness on millennial burnout?
  • is it to warn dangers of burnout?
  • is it to make them guilty?
  • is it to promote the importance of downtime?
