Jungle Se7ens - Production

The graphic identity for the festival was designed using the Adobe Illustrator software so that the vectors would ensure that when printing to a large scale the quality would not be reduced. The designs were then sent to the client in a PNG format so the social media feed could easily be updated with all of the files accessible on the shared google drive. Another factor that had to be taken into consideration was the colour space that the designs were developed on as some of the content was for print and some for screen – making it quite vital that it was set correctly so that the colours would always remain consistent. The sizing for the different social media platforms was another consideration as part of the production process as the information needed on each of the posts would have to have a slightly different layout depending on the required dimensions.

The promotional video was created on Adobe Premiere pro also making use of the dynamic link feature which allowed for After Effects animations to be instantly embedded into the video. To ensure consistency the graphic elements were taken from the Adobe Illustrator library and then imported into the video rather than trying to recreate the branding. The video was exported in a number of formats to suit the platform that needed it for example, the website video was of a higher quality than that that was released on the Facebook and Instagram pages.

The beer mats that were proposed to the festival team as something that could be there if the budget allowed for them to be, were handmade for pitching purpose. The design was printed onto a matt sticker and then placed on the mount board that had been cut to size. If in industry, these would be sent off to a printing company which would allow for the design to be printed directly onto the mats.

The posters were printed with Hobs Leeds as they could do them with the quickest turn around and the banner was printed via an online company that could print large scale.
