Exhibition - Editing the photos

We took over 600 photos so as a group we sat down to narrow them down 3 times. This was a really helpful process because it clearly showed us that within the photoshoot we had a few different styles that we could experiment with and choose the best outcomes. We narrowed it down to eoys 2 and then eoys 3 which had 23 photos.

As a group we then sat and edited them in Adobe Lightroom so that they visually looked consistent as a series if we decided to use them in that way. It was hard to get the white backgrounds consistent because when changing the exposures it created shadows on either the left or right which ruined the consistency across all of the images. We concentrated mainly on brightening the backgrounds first and then making the gold more metallic. Once a white and a black photo had been edited we were able to set them as reference photos for the others so that the same colouring and lighting could be achieved.
