Exhibition - Concept research

As part of my research I looked at the different tag-lines that could be used for the concept of 'gold' because I thought that this would help us to get clarity and generally get a better understanding of what we are trying to communicate through the branding.

Gold tag-lines
We are gold
Everything feels different with gold
Got gold?
Want gold?
Why settle for silver?
As good as gold
Go for gold
Be bold, go gold
Bring home the gold
Truth be told, gold is bold
Gold, can you dig it?
Gold, malleable and valuable
Golden years
Golden age
Heart of gold

The gold standard - using this as a concept and varying the photography around this
“Unveiling” the gold standard (gold sheet)
“Overflowing”/”Dripping in”/”Covering” the gold standard (gold paint dripping over something)

“Showcasing” the gold standard (gold frame)

I then looked at the ways in which different photographers have photographed large groups of objects:
