As part of the book cover design I wanted to ind an appropriate typeface that could represent the modern re-design of the novel, but also really narrate the themes within the book.
Japanese designers usually opt for a gothic sans serif typeface
Century gothic
- Century Gothic is geometric, modern and has a strong sense of clarity which could contrast well to the deeper meaning that will be illustrated as the overall graphic book design.
