Itsnicethat's studio Anyways sent Charlie Sheppard in to do a talk about himself, the studio and then run a workshop with a group of us.
Charlie Sheppard
He studied graphic design at Brighton University, but wanted to develop his career through the means of playing and having fun - with a graphic final outcome/application.
Anyways
'A creative agency in London. We help brands to communicate in new and adventurous ways by collaborating with the world's best creative talent.'
Creative, not just designers.
Any project, anyway
- clients approach but they receive a creative outcome not necessarily just a graphic design outcome
- photography, sculptural, experiential, video ...
The main bit of advice that was given at this part of the talk was to make work you want to do and you may get noticed. Charlie did a number of his own projects aside from his full time graduate job so he could make exactly what he enjoyed and it was these projects that got him noticed by Itsnicethat.
