Anyways - Developed idea

We realised that we would need quite a large floor space for this to be successfully filmed, so we called up Virgin Active the gym that we are at and asked if we could hire out a fitness studio for the day and film in there. Luckily we have a good contact with them so they said yes as a favour. This will allow us to hire out studio lights and have a few cameras filming at different angles in the studio. We have the studio hired from 2-11pm on Thursday 14th March. We wanted to film as soon as possible so that we had a large amount of time to then experiment with the final film and things to go with it.

Before we attempted the shooting of the film we made a prop list of what we thought we may need. It allowed us to plan some time to go to photography in the morning to hire the cameras and lighting and then also get town to go and buy the fabric/paper that will be used for the floor and background.

We also listed the different biscuits that we would want to use in the filming and how they may be used at the different stages during the 'circuit' and also in terms of shape and colour.

We are looking to source some coloured material to use as the backdrop as the texture from the fabric would represent a table cloth as if this were being shot on a table, linking to the tea break idea. The colour scheme has been taken from the classic favourite of party rings as they hold a nice pastel but bright colour palette of colours. We decided to use the pink as the main colour and then the other colours will come into the video production, text based work and printed publications. The idea of using these colours came from the idea that they are bright anf fun and would attract consumers due to the bright, bold background.

In reference to the first few sketches we made, we thought that the final part of the video will be focusing on the domino effect that is carried out in a spiralling motion and when as a flat lay it will be suggestive of the logo.

- domino effect
- biscuits that can stand - custard creams, bourbons, oreos (double layered)
- spiral flat lay when all fallen down
- branding on cup
- biscuit falling into cup of tea and melting to
- biscuit stack

- biscuit tower like playing cards

Mechanisms we thought about trying to use based on the workshop:
We thought that ramps, biscuits rolling and then domino effect would be the most achievable mechanisms to try with the biscuits .
