OUGD504 Submission Briefing

Demonstrate an informed understanding of issues relating to information, media, format and context through the delivery of solutions to identified design problems

Understand the potential and limitations of the technologies and processes used in the production of design for print and screen based delivery

Talk about Adobe Xd, who uses it and evaluate it in the bigger picture. what you have learnt, what you will do different and how it would be different if in industry

Analyse and critically evaluate primary/secondary sources material to inform the development and contextualisation of design solutions for print and screen based distribution. practical research for binding, print techniques, finishing, software skills

Manipulate and apply appropriate media, processes and technologies in the development, production and presentation of design solutions for print and screen

Identify, evaluate and apply practical/technical processes, materials and media in order to produce technically competent and conceptually appropriate outcomes. show that it works, the book binding and the pages working etc and in order and then also the app working in order and without glitches. 

Demonstrate the ability to communicate the development and resolution of ideas through appropriate visual and written presentation of work. The design boards need to be precise and the blogs need to be extensive and show experiments and exploration.

    • it is your responsibility to ensure your work is labelled, visible and easily navigable by assessors. No changes can be made after submission 
    Submission detail
    • blog saved as PDF and uploaded to Dropbox on the day of submission
    • submit your physical work in an A3 file
    • Include the module submission label which can be printed from eStudio
