Design for Screen - App interaction and finalising

The final pin up will be a chance to get some feedback on the small things that could be changed on the app and the way in which it is presented as a final concept. This is something that will be very useful to have before the final hand in because although the app is developed to a high standard, there may be minor improvements that I haven't thought of. The presentation of the app needs to show the users exactly how it works and the different features that it has included in the design. For the final pinup a visual concept board, all of the different screen designs and the wire framing of all of the links to the elements within the app, were all put up on the wall in order of use throughout the app. This was also accompanied by a video of the app in use as a prototype made in Adobe XD.

The wire framing on Adobe Xd was a very useful part of the design process, allowing me to see exactly which parts of the app worked well and any aspects that were missing. The video shows the prototype and how it will work for the user when they are to use the app on their devices.

The app design has the lines across the top taken from the accent on top of the 'o' which works well to ensure consistency throughout the interface and make it clear as to what section the user is currently within. The overall app design is minimal and suits the aesthetic often associated with kind of content in terms of apps and also the visual style of the creative magazines that I have researched.
