Presenting the idea of creating a zine for this project highlighted the need to distribute the information to a large target audience, but also confirmed that on its own it may not utilise the content in its best format. The photos that Kristina has taken are of a very high quality and the amount that would need to be in the publication may push the page limit of a zine too high.
A discussion on how to best respond to this brief lead to the conclusion that a higher quality printed publication for the main body of content would be the best solution because there is a lot of content. In order to fulfil the need of distributing the issue that has been discovered and documented, a small zine to go alongside the main photobook would work as a distribution method of the issue. Once awareness of the issue has been raised, the audience can then decide to purchase the full book in order to find out more about the women issues within Bali.
